Directions

  1. Heat object with heat gun (low setting), over a flame or in an oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.   Note: the oven used should not be one shared with food preparation.

  2. Shake powder paint to loosen it.

  3. Dip you jig / lead head (etc..) into powder, swish quickly and remove.

  4. Repeat heat-and-dip process additional times for a thicker / brighter coating.

  5. Optional: dip your jig / lead heat into clear powder paint for an extra glossy and hard finish.

  6. Cure your jig / lead head at 375 deg-F for 10 minutes.

  7. For larger jigs and increased cost savings, transfer glow powder from provided jar to a fluid bed.

  8. To achieve the brightest glow, pre-coat your jig with white non-glowing powder paint.

Charging Your Jig

  • Use a 365 nm UV flashlight, ambient room light or sunlight. Halogen and incandescent lights can be used also.

  • Note: The violet color does not charge-up well under a UV light. It is best to use sunlight, or other type of flashlight.
